Børge Mogensen was one of Denmark's most significant furniture architects. Almost all Danes have experienced his design - from the famous modern 'FDB Mobler' furniture of the 1940s to the classic furniture that has embellished our living spaces since the Second World War. Mogensen believed that the furniture should fit the person and not the other way around. Thus, it should always be functional and of high quality. He made this claim concrete through simple lines, pure wooden surfaces and strong core leather.
