The model 'Compile' is a simple and filigree shelf system from the Scandinavian label 'Muuto'. The whole structure including the shelves is made of powder-coated, light grey metal. The trays each have a kind of shortened back on the rear edge, which I not only like optically very well but is also totally practical for books and small things that like to rattle off.
The name of the Scandinavian label Muuto means 'new perspective' in Finnish. With the aim of presenting contemporary Nordic design with new and unusual details, the label is always on the lookout for designers to whom 'Muuto' offers a worldwide platform.
