'Hocuspocus' from Eternit

The 'old' material fibre cement is an exciting rediscovery by young designers with enthusiasm for this timeless industrial material. This is also the case for the young but already very successful designers Kevin Fries and Jakob Zumbühl. They see objects as more than just a material with a function that has been given form. For them, every well-designed object has its own identity and character traits that are intended to evoke emotional bonds in the user. Their greatest affirmation and motivation is still that the 'user' and buyer enjoys a product they have created. You can feel that and they have certainly succeeded in doing that when I look at the 'Hocuspocus' little table.

Hocuspocus' is a witty and surprising family of salon tables that the two have designed for 'Eternit'. A collector's item with character. Each little table is formed by hand from an Eternit mat and is therefore unique.

Like all 'Eternit' products, the table family is also manufactured in the factory in Payerne in Vaud, and the raw materials also come from Switzerland. As it is absolutely weatherproof, I can also put the table on my veranda or in the garden for my next aperitif.
