Sintesi was launched in 1975 - the first Artemide luminaire designed by company founder Ernesto Gismondi. Conceived as an intelligent system, it is based on simple, common components that form a versatile product family. Today's new table version forms the heart of the entire system. The structure is minimalist but adjustable in height and inclination, consisting of a few curved metal elements. Two "C"-shaped profiles of different lengths form a Y-shaped frame that allows the luminaire to be tilted simply by opening and closing. The light source is housed in a frame that holds and aligns it. Equipped with an E27 socket, it offers long-term adaptability. The frame also carries a reflector and a protective grille. Sintesi can be folded up compactly. Its direct, functional design reflects the practical approach of Ernesto Gismondi, who combined technical vision, efficient production and quality awareness to create a timeless icon.
