Alambicco Vertical ceiling light from Artemide

Alambicco is a modular luminaire system that emphasizes the beauty of hand-blown glass - through a play of transparencies and textures that direct and diffuse the light. At the center is an extruded aluminum structure with LED circuits on four opposite sides - the technological heart around which the individual layers are built. The first layer consists of a ribbed glass cylinder designed to break up the view of the technology without completely concealing it, while providing glare-free light. Above this are diffusers with soft, round shapes - also transparent, but refined by a handcrafted finish inspired by the traditional ballotone technique
