The Swedish manufacturer Konsthantverk is known for its simple, almost archaic lighting designs, which, as the brand name suggests, demonstrate a high degree of craftsmanship and dexterity.
The DK table lamp is no exception. A beautifully shaped opal glass lampshade is attached to a slender stand with a rounded right angle. This is reminiscent of Art Déco and looks elegant and simple thanks to its matt finish - and provides pleasant light on the office desk or wherever you want to use the small, delicate light source.
Personally, I particularly like the raw brass version, but the matt black version also has an allure of its own that pays homage to industrial design.
