I welcome the newest member of the popular 'Carronade' family of lamps: 60 cm high, the new addition is christened 'Carronade High Table'. The lamp has inherited the characteristic look of the 'Carronade' and its design is also inspired by the ship's cannons of the 18th century. The lacquered aluminium with brass details and a curved bracket made of American walnut wood give my favourite lamp a playful and nautical touch.
In my home, the 'Carronade High Table' has traveled all over the apartment for several days, exploring all the islands and moorings. Now it stands on the sideboard and conquers all eyes. As its name suggests, you can also place it on your desk or a side table. Thanks to the movable elements you can change the light direction again and again.
The Swedes and Danes know a lot about shipping and this also shows in the 'Carronade High Table'. The birth of the Scandinavian collaboration between 'Le Klint' and the young designer Markus Johansson goes back to the year 2015. After an encounter at the furniture and design fair in Milan, the first industrial-style 'Carronade' saw the light of day. I'm delighted that a concise miniature version has been added in 2019.
