Drawing inspiration from the classic Banker’s Light, British designer John Tree has combined archetypal references with his contemporary, colorful sensibility to create the Apex floor lamp. The pleated steel shades form the silhouette of a pointed roofline, which serves as the inspiration for the lamp’s name and creates a graphic contrast to the chrome-plated bases. The round base and long, tubular shaft are complemented by a colored shade that can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing the user to direct the light according to their needs. The Apex floor lamp offers a functional and decorative lighting solution for a variety of rooms and uses, from downward-directed light for reading to ambient lighting in a corner.
