This was to be expected, because hardly any other designer of the last century has shaped and mastered the constructive solution game with metal as much as the French designer and engineer Jean Prouvé.

Of course, this is also known by the famous and well-known institution Vitra, which still produces many of Prouvé's designs today with the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Like the wall lamp Potence, for example.

The projecting, swivelling lamp is a true, purist design icon and thus also absolutely timeless. Reduced to the essentials - a frame and a light bulb - the construction is made of powder-coated tubular steel with a spherical beechwood handle. The light can be regulated via the cord dimmer.
