In Finland, people have not lived in the city for that long. Most of them have their roots in the countryside, as there are rarely more than two generations of city dwellers in one family. This explains why Finns are drawn to the countryside whenever possible. To the cottage by the sea or by the many lakes or in the forest. The 'green gold' was for a long time the greatest wealth of the country.
Tuula Jusélius also found the wood for the beautiful lamps of her company Secto Design in the forest.
The Secto lamp is handmade from sustainable Finnish birch. From today I have the lamp in four different versions for you. Through the filigree wooden sticks the light shines warm and soft.
The lampshade reminds me almost a little bit of a flower; it diffuses the light delicately. The lamp fits in the living room, but also in the bedroom - and everywhere you want a pinch of purism. Or if you want to enjoy time with your loved ones, because the designer's beautiful goal was: 'The light should invite people to come closer together'.
