'Turn On' is a beautiful, unified design piece made of aluminum and opal glass.
The base is a faceted cylinder that conveniently serves as both a light switch and a stem that holds the spherical glass diffuser in place. Turning the base clockwise turns the LED light on, with another turn increasing the lumen output. Pretty smart, ne? This motion built into the design allows you to intuitively brighten or dim the light.
The base is available in four anodized finishes: black, aluminum, orange or green. Personally, I'm particularly fond of the latter. And you?
