Since 1861, BICO has stood for Swiss sleep expertise—what began in Reichenburg in 1861 with padding wadding and sheep’s wool is now the pioneer of restful sleep, made in Switzerland. Over 160 years of innovation have shaped the brand: from the first Swiss foam mattress, “Isabelle,” to the legendary bico-flex® slatted base, and on to the climate-regulating ClimaLuxe technology. Developed using Swiss materials and in our own SleepLab, we create mattresses, box spring beds, slatted bases, duvets, and pillows that combine the highest level of comfort with sustainability—the bico-flex® even won the iF and Red Dot Design Awards in 2022.
