In 2006, Colombian Ana María Calderón Kayser founded the Eifel-based company with the aim of developing furniture and home accessories that appeal to the hearts and minds of people who think and live cosmopolitan.

The combination of different cultural influences results in modern and unconventional furnishings that are multifunctional and flexible in use.

All products of 'Ames' are made according to German as well as Colombian handicraft tradition and consist of natural materials.
