Kvadrat Dashes - Carpet

The flat-woven Dashes rug takes the classic two-tone houndstooth pattern and abstracts it into a multi-colored, multi-dimensional graphic. It is an eye-catching twill weave design that uses tumbled yarns in the warp and weft. The warp thread consists of yarns in six different colors, with the base color alternating as a block stripe with a multicolored stripe. The weft thread is made from a slightly thicker yarn, with two contrasting neutral colors used alternately. On the surface, the ribs of the twill alternate between the dark and light colors. The color of the end yarn and the rib of the twill are identical. Dashes is a design that combines well with all natural floor coverings such as oak, slate, concrete and terrazzo. It is suitable for domestic and commercial use with medium to heavy traffic. Carpet also available in special sizes. Please contact us for more information.

A steel ball fitted with rubber stamps rolls randomly over the carpet quality in this drum. After 5,000 and 20,000 rotations, the sample is inspected by five inspectors and assessed on the basis of structural and color deviations.

Carpets that pass the minimum requirements of the test are rated from 21 to 23 (top score) for private applications and 31 to 33 (top score) for private and commercial applications.

Light fastness

4-5 (ISO 1-8)
Light fastness describes the color fastness of textiles when exposed to light. To determine the degree of light fastness, the samples are exposed to artificial daylight for a limited period of time.
The rating scale ranges from 1 to 8, with 8 being the best grade. The lightfastness doubles with each level, which means that the same degree of fading lasts twice as long.

Fire test

EN 13501-1 Bfl-s1 - ASTM E 648 Class 1 - ASTM E 662 - ASTM D 2859/CPSC FF 1-70/FF 2-70, 16 CFR 1630
