The Caccia cutlery series, designed in 1938 and presented in silver at the Triennale in 1940, is an outstanding example of “Lombard Classicism” in design. Gio Ponti praised the balanced combination of artisanal craftsmanship and the industrial future of household objects. Since 1990, Caccia has been reissued by Alessi thanks to an agreement with the Castiglioni brothers and Luigi Caccia Dominioni, as well as extensive philological research to complete the missing cutlery pieces. Caccia is available in 18/10 stainless steel and, for the Officina Alessi brand, also in 925/00 silver.
