Elegant, slim and straightforward, but also relaxed, inviting and warm-hearted. The outdoor furniture collection of the Danish designer and architect Bodil Kjær was already designed in 1959 and has sweetened the summer of many a Scandinavian since then.
The designs all have a wonderfully cubistic form, which was inspired by the contemporary architecture of the time. This is also quite evident in the rocking sofa, which brings to light a beautiful geometric quality with its solid teak construction.
Over time, the sofa will also weather beautifully to develop its own unique character. For added comfort, the seat cushion is made of weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric.
