The idea for 'Hee' came from the idea of designing an environmentally friendly chair and armchair series whose materials are easy to recycle. The solution was to produce a piece of furniture from a single material, thus avoiding environmentally harmful transportation between different production sites and simplifying the recycling process.
An archetypal chair was taken as a model and perfected in every detail, including functionality and design. The result is a simple, clear bar stool that is as timeless as it is versatile. Nothing is superfluous on this chair, nothing is mere decoration. No part could be removed without losing its function.
All the chairs in the series are made of 11mm-thick metal wire and are reminiscent of a sketch or three-dimensional pencil drawing and look beautifully delicate, which I particularly like. The stackable furniture is also very robust as it is high-quality galvanized and powder-coated - and is perfect for your outdoor area or the outdoor seating area of a chic bar.
