Aluminum:

Aluminum alloys, particularly suitable for cold working and die casting, with appropriate treatment to protect against atmospheric agents and with powder coating.
Maintenance: To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend regular and correct cleaning, which should be particularly frequent in places with high humidity and marine climates. We recommend cleaning the surfaces with water or neutral detergents and a soft cloth. Prolonged, uninterrupted exposure of aluminum products to strong UV radiation or very low temperatures may adversely affect the original properties of the polyester paint coating. We recommend cleaning the products when they are not used for long periods and in winter and storing them in sheltered places.
Teak:

Wood traditionally used for outdoor furniture with an everlasting, exotic appeal. Teak is a hard wood with a high oil content and is suitable for outdoor use without the need for varnishing or coating. If it is not subjected to any protective treatment, a silver-grey patina forms on the surface, which provides natural protection for the inner part of the wood and is an essential element in the appeal of teak. The teak used to manufacture EMU products is FSC® certified.

As this is a natural material, the color may change and cracks may form depending on humidity and temperature fluctuations. However, if the wood is not treated with conventional or special oil-based products, a silver-grey patina will form on the surface, which can also be removed by lightly sanding the surface and then polishing with a jute cloth. Small stains from oil or other food products on the surface must be removed quickly before they penetrate deep into the wood by sanding the affected surface and polishing it with a jute cloth. When the wood gets wet for the first time, it is normal for the surface to become a little rough after drying. The original smoothness can be restored by lightly sanding the surface and then polishing it with a jute cloth.
