The basic structure of the Tami seating system by Patrick Norguet is made of two special profiles in 6060 aluminum alloy with elements in AISI316 stainless steel. The slats of the support surface are assembled using a special connection system. The slats can be made of bamboo or WPC, a composition of wood and recycled bamboo fibers. This is an environmentally friendly, waterproof, climate- and bacteria-resistant material that is 100% recyclable and easy to clean. The backrest and armrests, whose frame is made of D28 tubes and round discs made of 6060 aluminum alloy (30x8), can be assembled thanks to special elements made of punched nylon. The collection includes the following elements: Base armchair frame, 2-seater sofa, 3-seater sofa, base corner piece, low coffee table in two versions.
To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend regular and correct cleaning, which should be particularly frequent in places with high humidity and marine climates. We recommend cleaning the surfaces with water or neutral detergents and a soft cloth. Prolonged, uninterrupted exposure of aluminum products to strong UV radiation or very low temperatures may adversely affect the original properties of the polyester paint coating. We recommend cleaning the products when they are not used for long periods and in winter and storing them in a protected place.
BAMBOO
The material is uncoated and natural, which is why it is susceptible to stains and, when left outdoors, tends to oxidize and consequently turn grey. To counteract these two problems, it is advisable to treat the product with oil at least once a year. Precisely because it is a natural product, it is no longer possible to remove stains once they have penetrated the material. Treating the surface before using the materials improves the ability to remove stains before they are absorbed to a certain extent. However, as far as normal cleaning and hygiene of the surface is concerned, it is sufficient to use water and neutral detergents.
