Aesthetic lantern 'Bell'

'A product must be useful and realistic to be considered good design' With this core philosophy in mind, Martin Solem strives for an innovative approach when creating new design projects.

Based on a specific form and functional observation of the designer, the 'Bell' lantern was also created: A glass vessel on a powder-coated steel base with a handle that is locked in the upright position.

The lantern allows the candle to cast its flickering rays into the night undisturbed, while the glass lid slides into a groove in the metal base and lifts up and off easily.
