The classic design of a picnic table is often perceived as immobile and limited in its functions. Designer Jaïr Straschnow was inspired by this observation and developed a contemporary interpretation of the picnic table that is easy to move and versatile.
By halving the classic design of a picnic table, Straschnow has created a multifunctional table that not only saves half the space, but also doubles the possibilities. This makes the Tablebench ideal for smaller spaces such as a balcony or an urban garden. In addition, the curved table top serves as a comfortable backrest when you turn away from the table. Work, eat and relax - all at one table. Place the Tablebench against the wall, combine it with chairs or put two Tablebenches together to create a classic picnic table.
The Tablebench is made of bamboo: a particularly sustainable material as it grows quickly and is durable. The powder coating and cataphoresis treatment of the steel frame make the Tablebench weatherproof. One Tablebench offers space for three people.
