Simple but sophisticated objects and things that work and keep their promises are my favourite. If they come from sustainable, social and environmentally friendly production, like the great 'Z-Hocker' from the Bernese social enterprise Triva, then I'm completely enthusiastic about them.
The stool comes in a small cardboard box with handles, whose handiness was the first thing that struck me as positive. Once unpacked, the fine, light beech wood catches my eye.
The still 'flat' stool can easily be folded out to a 'Z' due to the beautifully crafted sides.
More than 'just' a stool, the 'Z-Stool' is also a really noble design object that can also be used as a side table or a contemporary bedside table. This versatile piece of furniture can also be easily folded up and therefore saves space when I don't need it.
