High table Passerelle 250 cm from Hay

Inspired by the clean aesthetics of classic Shaker furniture, French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created the Passerelle desk - an updated interpretation that offers the same simplicity and quality in a more modern context. The balanced, flat-packed construction consists of a table top with solid wooden edges and a veneer or linoleum surface. The core is made of Lisocore®, an advanced, high-quality material that offers high strength while being extremely light and easy to move. The frame of the table is equally robust and functional, with solid wooden legs and an aluminum and steel crossbar positioned right in the middle to give the chairs more space and mobility. The different material and color options of the Passerelle Desk reinforce its multifunctionality, so that it can be used both as a desk in a home office and as a workstation in a company.
