Plant book 'Urban Farming'

Would you rather take your sustainable future into your own hands than follow the progress of the climate crisis from your couch? Do you have the desire to give your garden, balcony or even the entire city a good portion of green space and vegetables - and best of all, to get others on board?

That's what authors Laura Setzer and Juliane Ranck thought and launched the Vegetable Heroines project. Their goal: urban farming, i.e. growing fruit and vegetables in the middle of Frankfurt, virtually on their doorstep. In doing so, they set a movement in motion that has been joined by more and more enthusiasts. And together they have created a small wilderness in the middle of the big city. They cultivate, sow and plant according to the principles of permaculture - and provide themselves and their fellow human beings with home-grown produce. Ingenious, isn't it?

Let the authors inspire you - who knows, maybe you too will soon turn your city (or just your balcony) into a vegetable paradise?
