Magical picture book: In a white winter night

I love beautifully illustrated children's books. They simply have a very special magic about them. This work by Jan Pendziwol and Isabelle Arsenault is no exception.

Beautifully drawn and written, 'In a White Winter's Night' tells the story of a little boy in his warm bed, while outside the life of a winter's night is stirring.
Flakes float down, animals appear. Stars shine in the sky flaming northern lights follow. The wreath of ice flowers on the window is the peephole into this magical world of a winter night in the far north.

The authors write and draw in words and pictures a tender bedtime story as wonderful as a dream.
