Tadaaaa: die neuen Vitra-Homestories sind da!
Der Stuhl Mynt ist der Star der Geschichten und erfindet das Sitzen neu. Von Über-Designer Erwan Bouroullec gestaltet, lässt sich dieser langlebige Stuhl in kein Schema stecken. Sein ausgetüftelter Mechanismus lässt dich dynamisch und natürlich sitzen – und tut damit ganz viel für deine körperliche Gesundheit und dein Wohlbefinden.
Mynt ist in den schönsten Farbkombis erhältlich und bringt die neue, trendige Wohnnlichkeit ins Office sowie die ergonomische Bequemlichkeit eines dynamischen Bürostuhls in dein Zuhause.
Mynt musste nicht nur funktionieren, er musste auch ansprechend sein – ansprechend für jede Person, jede Aufgabe, zu jeder Zeit.

Let's take a closer look. To the designer of this new type of seating furniture! The designer Erwan Bouroullec is not only very well known and even very famous, he also manages to combine industrial design with art like almost no other. The lines of his creations reflect the dynamics of his filigree drawings, in which he repeats intuitive lines with Japanese felt brushes. The Mynt - as well as the new Courier desk - are an expression of his artistic flair combined with his technical finesse.
Nowadays, people sit on the same chair for less time and share it with others more often. This was the background and incentive for Bouroullec to develop Mynt. This new type of chair was to offer a homely aesthetic - and a new dimension of active, healthy sitting.
At the heart of the hybrid chair is a patented mechanism that is activated by human weight. It then tilts backwards or forwards according to the weight shift and position of the sitter.
Active sitting feels super good!
> It's also perfect for technophobes like me: the only thing that needs to be adjusted is the height. Everything else happens automatically and constantly adjusts itself.
The aesthetics of Mynt are simple and therefore particularly modern. For me, this alone sets the chair apart from conventional task chairs, and this is what makes it so trend-setting and unique.
Especially in its version with a four-star base and without castors, it is so wonderfully homely and purist that I can also use it outside the home office. And with its ergonomic comfort, it ensures a great deal of health and relaxation.

Mynt ist so schön, dass er auch in meine Küche einziehen darf. Der einzige ergonomisch ausgefeilte Stuhl, der sich auch neben Kult-Klassikern wie dem Panton Chair und dem Saarinen Tisch absolut nicht zu verstecken braucht!
Dezent, modern und perfekt im Mix mit seinesgleichen oder anderen Stuhl-Ikonen.
Design mit Kult-Potential 🎨 👨🏻💻
Kult-Designer Ronan Bouroullec hat nebst dem neuen dynamischen Stuhl Mynt auch einen neuen Schreibtisch gestaltet – den Courier.
Der Schreibtisch vereint geschickt und mit entspannter Optik Holz und Aluminium zu einem unverwechselbaren, aber zurückhaltenden Design, das dein Homeoffice lieben wird.
Seinen Namen verdankt der Tisch übrignes seiner an einen Serifen-Buchstaben erinnernden Silhouette – eine Hommage an die berühmte Schrift Courier.
Der Courier erinnert an die ikonischen Schreibtische von Jean Prouvé (Compas Direction), George Nelson (Home Desk) und von Charles und Ray Eames (EDU).
Allesamt Möbelstücke, die zugleich Skulpturen sind.
Mynt is not only very homely and comfortable. It is also made to last: the upholstery, glides and castors can be easily replaced by yourself, and the seat and backrest made of recycled plastic or wood can be replaced by professionals. Mynt contains up to 86% recycled materials - and at the end of its life cycle, it is 99% recyclable.
> Speaking of green: I particularly like the version with the bottle-green metal and the ship-green upholstery in my home office.
The new way of sitting can be configured in countless beautiful variations and requirements. What do I particularly like?
> The new natural tones, which bring a lot of calm to an office space in particular.
And if I want to be a little more creative, I like to complement them with the warm yellow and brown tones, which give the modern chair a charming retro touch of the 70s and thus groove along with the mood of the times.
