Inspired by French sociologist and phycologist Baudrillard's classification of objects, Milan-based multidisciplinary design firm Studiopepe has created a series of works featuring soulful, organic shapes on a range of colorful placemats.
'Il Sistema Degli Oggetti', or 'SDO 02' for short, combines a bold orange carafe, a gray glass and a white knife - on a muted dark purple tablecloth with striking orange accents. The bold yet understated composition is a testament to Studiopepe's unique eye for color, shape and texture.
