Servierboy 'Block-Table'

Is it the cool air? The grey weather? Or the good beer? We'll probably never find out why the Danes always do everything right when it comes to style. My suspicion is that they're probably instilled with a sense of simple aesthetics and straightforwardness at an early age.

The 'Block Table' in new colours by Danish designer Simon Legald is further proof of the Scandinavians' ingenious sense of style and that no-frills design simply always works.

The serving boy made of steel and wood looks great in the living room as a mini bar with a few limes and a fancy bottle of gin on top. Or as a kitchen tray for tea tins and salad servers. Or as a bedside table and shelf for my latest winter reads.

Luckily, we don't have to choose: The Servierboy, which now comes completely monochrome and in six different colors, has wheels and follows us everywhere.
