Designed by Shane Schneck for 'Hay', the Tamoto bed is designed with multi-functionality in mind, making it easy and intuitive to integrate into your home.
'Tamoto' is influenced by the draping quality of kimono sleeves, which inspired Schneck's innovative use of foldable fabric over the bed frame. The soft, draped headboard is balanced by the generously sized tubular steel frame. This creates a modern and comfortable bed-sofa combination that is not only for sleeping, but also as a base for reading, working, watching TV and other activities.
With a flat-pack, easy-to-assemble design, a removable headboard cover and recyclable materials, every step of 'Tamoto's' design process was designed to make the single bed practical and versatile above all else.
