A few years ago, I discovered the Zürisee bath towel for myself. This year, another bijou by graphic designer Doris Oberneder follows: The Tüechli for the Rhiischwümme. For true Basler*innen there is no stopping them!
The striking design in retro look shows several swimmers floating down the Rhine. By the way, it's not only a great spectacle on the Tüechli, but also in real life, and for me it's one of the things that makes Basel so charming.
The design was implemented in high-quality, multicolored jaquard weaving with 100% cotton yarn in Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. The bath towel is manufactured by 'Wirtex', the oldest terry weaving mill in Austria. Thanks to the gentle 'slow-weaving' process, it keeps its shape and remains absorbent.
