Charlottenborg' was designed in 1936 by the famous Danish designer Arne Jacobsen, who together with Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel, Viggo Boesen and Franco Albini was one of the pioneers of the time. These designers broke new ground by experimenting with shapes as well as with the rigid materials rattan and wicker.
