The 'Fox Chair' by Vigo Boesen is a design from the 1930s and was reissued in 2014 by the Danish manufacturer Sika Design. The organic design was then far ahead of its time and the 1936 design was awarded several prizes.
The architect Vigo Boesen developed numerous rattan furniture pieces in his studio. His credo: Furniture must adapt organically to the body, be solid and robust at the same time and bring joy to the eye of the beholder - a concept that has not lost any of its topicality even 100 years later.
