Monolithic veneer table Mi

Today there are news from 'Horgenglarus' and they have it in themselves: The table Mi has an insanely great presence and is my latest discovery.

Mi' does not impose itself and yet has a great effect. Its table top is adorned with a noble veneer that is peeled from one piece of the trunk. The peeled veneer has a continuous wood pattern; especially with dark stains, the pattern stands out.

No joint, nothing distracts from the harmony of the wood in this monolithic table. An elegant purism that requires very precise manufacturing.

The 25 mm thick table top is produced especially for 'Mi' in beech plywood to meet the high requirements for flatness of the top even without inlay. It is spanned with weights, assembled and supports like a vault.

To preserve the architectural expression, Beat Waeber and Daniel Dickenmann have drawn the legs very slightly tapered. This gives them a straight appearance. The legs are carefully dovetailed with the tabletop. This makes 'Mi' suitable not only for the home, but also for contract and office use.
