For you today, I've selected the handmade 'Kelim Rug' in the Lay finish. It is woven on a Punja loom using a traditional and manual weaving technique that is one of the oldest in the world. The wool-cotton yarn is hand-dyed, and the kilim weaving yarns have a unique, coarse texture that gives the rug an added element of feel, characteristic of traditional kilim rugs.
