The pattern of diamonds and zigzag lines is characteristic for the Beni-Ourain rugs of the label My-Beni. It owes its name to the Berber tribe of the same name, which is at home in the northeastern foothills of the Middle to High Atlas Mountains. The production of the carpets is traditionally the responsibility of the women of the tribe and requires not only manual dexterity and skill, but above all perseverance, because it often takes several months.
