Eames Plastic Armchair DAW

An eye-catcher in any room and of course a design classic of furniture history par excellence is the 'Plastic Chair'.

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, one of the most famous designer couples of the 20th century, the furniture series with the highly acclaimed seat shell is a true icon and an integral part of design history.

Presented for the first time in 1948 at the 'Low Cost Furniture' competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the seating furniture went into serial production just two years later and has been delighting people all over the world ever since. Including the Mooris, of course!

As a showcase example of multifunction, the 'Plastic Chair' with all its different combinations romps at the top of the versatile furniture type. The wooden base of the 'Dining Height Armchair Wood Base' (DAW) ensures a contrasting interplay of materials with the plastic shell.

For you, here is the extensive range of options of the 'Plastic Armchairs'. Have fun combining and choosing your new favorite!
