'Chieftain Sofa' by Finn Juhl

In addition to the impressive 'Chieftain Chair', Finn Juhl and the cabinetmaker Niels Vodder also presented the 'Chieftain Sofa' in 1949.

While the chair went into production immediately, only one edition of the sofa was produced, as far as is known.

The 'Chieftain Sofa' not only dominates in size and extravagance, but also needs a lot of space around it to do itself justice. It is a chieftain through and through.

Today this exceptional piece of furniture is produced in a very exclusive, handmade version in oak or walnut. The sofa is upholstered by hand in Denmark from extra-large skins of the finest quality.
