It is made of natural teak and high-quality abaca. The latter is also called banana hemp and is a fiber plant native to East Asia, which is ideal for dense weaving. I was particularly taken with the fine wood grain and the deep seating position, but also the fact that I can take it anywhere with its light weight - even outside in the garden.
