Our Calm Kilim runners redefine traditional kilim craftsmanship by enriching it with modern colors and patterns. The rugs are handmade and the 100% wool yarn is hand-dyed, making each rug unique. They are woven on Punja looms using a traditional and manual weaving technique that is one of the oldest in the world. The kilim weaving yarns have a unique, coarse texture that gives the rugs an additional tactile element, a characteristic of traditional kilim rugs.
