Carpet 'Estambul'

The original sketch for this carpet was a painted watercolor from 1987 by Mariscal. It conveys the basic features of a classic Persian rug.

From this, the unique pattern was reinterpreted. In terms of style, the design is reminiscent of a western comic. This is how West meets East and creates something new. Traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design brought to the point.
