The young Swiss label MAANA Studios provides us with the most beautiful rugs for our homes. The famous 'Beni Ourain' rug from the Atlas Mountains, which gives its label its name, is a must-have with its calm and very homely allure, but is also complemented by many other floor embellishments.
The hand flat-woven 'EF-DC006' rug is made largely from natural new wool with a proportion of cotton in the warp. This blend provides warmth and comfort and, thanks to its neutral, light colouring, goes well with almost all flooring. Light and dark parquet and wooden floors as well as concrete and other floor types harmonize beautifully with natural wool.
The handmade nature of this rug makes it unique, with imperfections that set it apart from industrially manufactured products.
