The rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool, produced in India using hand-knotted and hand-woven sumac techniques.

'Rabari' evokes the sensual and lustrous world of Indian tribal embroidery.Designer duo Doshi Levien wanted the design for Spanish label Nanimarquina to reference unfinished embroideries that are like studies of different techniques in progress as they gradually emerge over time.
