A funny play on words and a sensible light is the 'Lampampe' from the pen of Ingo Maurer.
Lampampe' belongs to a series of simple lamps made of Japanese paper, which Ingo Maurer developed in the late 1970s / early 1980s.
In the design he takes up the form of traditional lampshades and yet formulates a new aesthetic.
The shades are still handmade in Munich. The paper produces a soft, completely glare-free light and is slightly crumpled as a deliberate design element.
