Behind the Finnish label Secto Design are not only two kindred spirits, but also a lot of respect for the northern wood and the clear Scandinavian design. Tuula Jusélius, the founder, and Seppo Koho, the designer, started their collaboration with the design and production of innovative wooden furniture. However, they quickly realized that their customers were missing a crucial piece of the puzzle: a beautiful wooden lamp.
This was the birth of the lamp series to which the Octo pendant lamp belongs. It has a well-formed and inviting volume that can be used in a variety of ways. The lampshade is drawn from compression-moulded birch, which beautifully refracts light softly from the inside out, creating a cosy atmosphere.
Each lamp is handmade in Finland with great care and craftsmanship.
