In 1971 Panton designed the 'Panthella'. The organic shapes of this lamp are still very popular today. Panton was interested in creating a lamp in which the base and shade serve as a reflector.
In this version, the 'Panthella' is rechargeable via a USB cable.
The 'Panthella' emits soft and diffused light. The hemispherical shade reflects light downward and the material ensures that most of the light is diffused from the surface of the shade.
