Mother-of-pearl pendant lamp Fun

This pendant 'Fun' you have surely seen before. I often find these lights in chic bars or expensive hotels.

Rings of different sizes, which hang on top of each other - the upper one smaller than the lower one - on each of these rings hang several mussel roundumeli. And somewhere in between there hides a light body that wonderfully spreads the light through the shells and the mother-of-pearl and even makes it dance. It reminds me a bit of a wind chime.

The 'Fun' was designed in 1964 by the designer Verner Panton. A really glamorous luminaire, which makes a sound every now and then.
