Truly magical is this floor lamp that Michael Anastassiades has conceived for 'Flos'.
In this collection, everything revolves around balance. All lamps have the illuminated glass sphere in common, which balances on the end of a fine rod. You can choose between brass, chrome, black or red.
The designer got the idea while watching a juggler. Balls danced across his arms and over his fingertips. Despite the speed of his movements, the balls seemed to be calm. It was precisely this moment that Michael Anastassiades wanted to capture and translate.
And he succeeded, I think to myself, as I admire this beautiful lamp in amazement.
It's really great what shines over to us from the Flos label. For 50 years, the company has been creating light objects and giving shape to generations of dreams. For 'Flos', light is the material with which the label expresses new ideas and brings unexplored emotions into the light.
