An iridescent light bulb sits perfectly in a brass socket with pull switch. The bulb is actually a holographic representation, while the socket and switch are real. This is a fascinating application of hologram technology that never ceases to amaze visitors. The light source is attached to the end of a rod and illuminates the hologram. (Please note that in some photos the rod has been faded out.) For technical reasons, it is not possible to determine the color of the hologram. Direct sunlight and nicotine can shorten the life of the hologram.
