The Claritas floor lamp is an inconspicuous companion that provides both light and atmosphere, but prefers to remain in the background.
It was designed in 1946 as the first collaboration between Vico Magistretti and Mario Tedeschi. Even then it consisted only of black painted metal tubes, chrome-plated details and a curved aluminium diffuser. White inside, black outside.
The small but fine shade can be swivelled and rotated, just as you want the light to be directed. For example, on the newspaper in the reading chair, indirectly on the living situation or as an accent in the corner of the room.
