The Swirl lamp from the Danish lighting specialist Le Klint somehow reminds me of a soft ice cream. It's a bite to kill! Øivind Slaatto, however, had a completely different idea in mind when designing his lamp: he drew inspiration from nature and mathematical foundations. So he was incredibly fascinated by the construction of snail shells and fractals. For all who like me have to use a search engine for the latter term: These are certain natural or artificial shapes or geometric patterns.
The transparency of this lamp, its shape and the spiral panels make the 'Swirl' absolutely unique.
So 'Swirl' is light and object in one, which you can use effectively in every room.
The lighting manufacturer Le Klint has been an outstanding ambassador for Danish design and arts and crafts since the 1940s and is not least known for its unique collection of handmade lampshades designed according to Japanese origami principles.
